Chrome has split view now… WUT! You’re telling me I DON’T have to open multiple windows and put them side by side anymore? Today is a beautiful day
Little Thoughts
This is where I regularly post my random thoughts. Social-media vibes, but only the good parts. May or may not be opinionated, and sometimes a little unhinged tehe
I’ve never needed more than one file to generate mock data before. I’m not even done yet and I already feel so accomplished, aww yisss
“Should all mock data creation happen in the same file?” … “Nah, too many tables to seed.”
“I’m using Bogus/Faker so maybe CategoryFaker is a good name.” … “Nahh, I don’t want file or folder names tied to the generator.”
“Does CategorySeeder or CategoryGenerator make more sense?” … “CategorySeeder. Wait, no. I don’t want to touch the database in there. CategoryGenerator!”
The very real and serious thoughts I had today
I’ve been fixing small issues on this website instead of seeding the database for Klaro this week… because I’ve never had to seed this many tables. But I can’t avoid it anymore. Time to show the database who’s boss
I realised yesterday that I don’t know who the current Australian PM is, no joke. The last one I remember is Julia Gillard. Sure, I stopped keeping up with the news to conserve energy, but even to me this is a doozy
But it does go to show how stable the country’s political system is so… WIN
Why did I just spend 20 minutes trying to figure out why a .NET Core project kept crashing, when it was just because I was closing Edge each time?
In my defence, I already had Chrome open, and both places in Visual Studio that mention the browser were set to “Chrome”… I accept no blame for this
Apparently, the Npgsql package for Postgres hasn’t been updated, even though .NET 10 was released just a day ago. Colour me shocked
Oh my, .NET 10 just dropped. Visual Studio 2026, come to meeee
